Delegate Sobonya moves to amend the strike and insert amendment on page thirty-eight, section six, line seven by inserting a new subsection (c) to read as follows: “The commission shall, in consultation with the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Resources and the Commissioner of Agriculture,  promulgate emergency rules pursuant to the provisions of section fifteen, article three, chapter twenty-nine-a of this code to implement the provisions of this article and shall, in consultation with the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Resources and the Commissioner of Agriculture, subsequently propose rules for legislative approval in accordance with the provisions of article three, chapter twenty-nine-a of this code.”;

And

By renumbering the remaining subsection accordingly;

And

By adding the word “legislative” prior to the words “rule” or “rules” where appropriate throughout the bill.
